Ribolla Gialla is a true gem from the Collio area, and Vigna del Lauro masterfully embodies it in its Collio Ribolla Giala DOC. This native variety from the Friuli-Venezia Giulia region is cultivated on hilly slopes, where the unique microclimate and soil rich in marl and sandstone impart distinctive and unique characteristics to the wine.

On the nose, the Collio Ribolla Gialla DOC by Vigna del Lauro offers a harmonious bouquet with hints of white flowers, citrus, and notes of yellow-fleshed fruits, such as peach and apricot. There is also a subtle almond aftertaste that adds complexity to the olfactory profile.

On the palate, this wine surprises with its freshness and liveliness. The acidity is well-balanced and supports a medium-light body that opens up to a range of flavors that are persistent and consistent with the olfactory impressions. The finish is clean and refreshing, with a pleasant return to the citrus notes that invite another sip.

Ideally served at a temperature of 8-10°C, the Collio Ribolla Gialla DOC pairs beautifully with fish dishes, such as raw seafood or light appetizers, but also with fresh cheeses and delicately spiced white meats. Its versatility also makes it perfect as an aperitif, enhancing every conversation with its refined and captivating presence.

This wine not only reflects the typicity of its grape variety but also the commitment of Vigna del Lauro in expressing the best potential of Ribolla Gialla with careful and respectful winemaking. A prized addition to any wine selection designed to surprise and delight the most demanding palates.
