The Condrieu Coteau de Chery - M. Chapoutier is a prestigious white wine, considered one of the jewels of the range offered by Michel Chapoutier, world-famous producer in the Rhône Valley, France. This exclusive wine is produced using Viognier grapes from the single vineyard "Coteau de Chery", one of the most renowned and appreciated terroirs of the Condrieu appellation, known for its ability to produce wines of exceptional complexity and depth.

The particularity of "Coteau de Chery" lies in its unique soil and its exposure. The granitic soil, together with the optimal sun exposure, gives the Viognier distinctive characteristics, intensifying the aromatic expression of the vine and the mineral structure of the wine. Chapoutier, known for his biodynamic approach and respect for terroir, emphasizes these qualities through careful viticultural practices and winemaking that aims to preserve the purity and integrity of the fruit.

At sight, Condrieu Coteau de Chery presents an intense golden yellow color, which suggests the richness and concentration of the wine. On the nose, it opens with a seductive and complex aroma of white flowers, ripe white pulp fruit, notes of apricots, peaches, and a subtle minerality that recalls the granite soil of origin. Accents of vanilla and sweet spices add to the aromatic complexity, the result of careful aging in barrique which integrates without overpowering the primary aromas.

In the mouth, the wine surprises with its extraordinary richness and depth. The texture is opulent but balanced by a vibrant acidity, which gives freshness and longevity. The flavors faithfully reflect the nose, with an added level of complexity and a long, persistent finish that leaves a sensation of elegant minerality and refinement.

Ideal as an accompaniment to sophisticated dishes such as lobster, fish in creamy sauce, foie gras or blue cheeses, the Condrieu Coteau de Chery - M. Chapoutier is also a magnificent meditation wine, to be appreciated for its ability to evolve and reveal new nuances in the glass.
