Cote Rotie - Neve - M. Chapoutier is an exceptional red wine, produced in the renowned Cote Rotie appellation, located in the northern part of the Rhone Valley, in France. This region is famous for its intense and complex red wines, produced mainly with Syrah grapes, sometimes co-fermented with a small percentage of Viognier to add floral aromas and complexity. Michel Chapoutier is one of the Rhône Valley's most esteemed producers, known for his wines that faithfully express the terroir and for his commitment to biodynamic viticulture practices.

The name "Neve" evokes power and purity, characteristics that are reflected in the wine itself. Cote Rotie's vineyards are positioned on steep granite terraces, which provide excellent drainage and contribute to the concentration and complexity of the wines. The position of the vineyards, excellently exposed to the sun, allows the Syrah grapes to ripen fully, developing a rich aromatic profile and ripe tannins.

Cote Rotie - Neve - M. Chapoutier is produced with meticulous attention, from the manual harvesting of the grapes to the winemaking, which often includes a long maceration to extract color, aromas and structure. Aging in new and used French oak barriques adds further nuances of flavor and aroma, enriching the wine without overpowering its varietal character.

Visually, the wine presents itself with a deep and inviting red color. On the nose, it offers an explosion of aromas, including ripe black fruit such as blackberries and plums, notes of spices, black pepper, chocolate, and delicate floral accents due to co-fermentation with Viognier. Aromatic complexity is a signature of Chapoutier wines and particularly evident in this Cote Rotie.

In the mouth, the Cote Rotie - Neve shows extraordinary concentration and depth, with silky but powerful tannins and a balanced acidity that gives freshness. The finish is long and persistent, with a return of the spicy and fruity notes perceptible on the nose.

Ideal in combination with rich and tasty dishes such as grilled red meats, stews, game and mature cheeses, this wine also represents a splendid choice for aging, being able to evolve beautifully for many years in the cellar.
