The Crémant d’Alsace Zéro Dosage from Domaine Barmès Buecher is a brilliant example of precision and purity in the production of traditional method sparkling wines in Alsace, France. This wine has a remarkable characteristic: it is "Zéro Dosage," which means no sugars are added after the second fermentation, offering an extremely authentic tasting experience that expresses the original terroir.

Visually, the Crémant d’Alsace Zéro Dosage displays a delicate straw yellow hue with a very fine perlage that contributes to persistent and seductive effervescence. On the nose, fresh and vibrant aromas of citrus, green apple, with a slight touch of white flowers and hazelnuts emerge, derived from the long aging periods on the lees.

On the palate, the absence of dosage turns every sip into a statement of purity and structure. The complex acidity is balanced by a refined creaminess that extends into a long, mineral-rich finish, making this Crémant not only excellent as an aperitif but also capable of accompanying delicate dishes like seafood or an elegant fish starter.

Sustainability is a cornerstone of Domaine Barmès Buecher, which practices organic and biodynamic farming, ensuring not only respect for the environment but also enhancing the most genuine and expressive characteristics of the grapes used.

Winery history
The estate was established by the union of the Barmès and Buecher families; its creation is linked to the founders’ marriage, and the family structure has continued through subsequent generations. Since the late 1990s the estate undertook conversion to biodynamic viticulture, a process completed with official certification in the early 2000s. Today the family’s children are actively involved in managing the vineyard and cellar.
Production philosophy
They practice biodynamic viticulture with attention to natural rhythms and the soil: manual work, biodynamic preparations, hedgerows and biodiversity in the vineyard. In the cellar a measured approach is preferred to allow the character of the terroir and the vintage to emerge clearly in the bottles. They are a member of Biodyvin and collaborate with initiatives that promote the expression of terroirs.
Terroir and vineyards
The domaine is located in Wettolsheim, a few kilometres west/southwest of Colmar and near Eguisheim, on the foothills of the Vosges. The vineyard comprises several lieux-dits and parcels on varied soils and produces wines linked to specific terroirs, including Grand Crus such as Hengst, Steingrubler and Pfersigberg; parcels include Rosenberg, Leimental and Clos Sand.
