Alla vista, si presenta con una brillante tonalità giallo paglierino, arricchita da un perlage fine e persistente, che promette freschezza e vivacità.

Al naso, si apre con un bouquet affascinante di agrumi, mela verde e note floreali, armonizzate da una sottile mineralità che ricorda il suolo calcareo della regione. In sottofondo, si possono percepire lievi accenni di crosta di pane e nocciola, dovuti alla lunga permanenza sui lieviti, che conferisce complessità e profondità al profilo aromatico.

Il palato è fresco e vivace, con una bollicina cremosa che avvolge il gusto. La sua acidità ben bilanciata dona al vino una piacevole dinamica, rendendolo ideale per accompagnare aperitivi e piatti leggeri. Founded in 1904, headquartered in Marlenheim. Renowned for its Crémant d'Alsace; the range also includes Grand Cru cuvées and vendanges tardives. Operates both as a négociant and as a vineyard owner, collaborating with hundreds of winegrowers. Declared commitment to environmental practices and the conversion of certain parcels to organic farming. Innovative products: an example of a marketing/product cited internally is the cuvée "ICE", launched in 2014.
Winery history
The history behind the name Arthur Metz begins in the Epfig vineyard, with roots the Maison carries in its logo «depuis 1904». Arthur Metz also worked as a négociant on the Quai de Bercy in Paris before consolidating operations in Alsace. In 1991 the company became part of the Helfrich family / the Les Grands Chais de France group, and in subsequent years merged with other local concerns. Today the Maison reports about 85 hectares of owned vineyards and works with hundreds of growers across a broad wine-growing area.
Production philosophy
Parcel-focused work and attention to the terroir: winemaking aimed at enhancing the origin of each parcel, with a preference for dry wines while ranges also include semi-sweet and late-harvest styles. The estate emphasizes environmentally friendly practices, long-term relationships with grape suppliers and projects to convert some parcels to organic farming.
Terroir and vineyards
Vineyards and suppliers distributed along the Route des Vins d'Alsace, with headquarters and main operations in Marlenheim. The range covers wines and Crémant from several Alsatian terroirs, including Grand Cru from various appellations.
