The Cuvée dei Frati Metodo Classico Dosaggio Zero of Cà dei Frati represents a sublime expression of Italian sparkling wines, produced in the renowned Lugana area, south of Lake Garda. Made exclusively with Turbiana grapes, an indigenous variety of the territory, this metodo classico matures for a long time on the lees, imparting complexity and finesse to the organoleptic profile.

The zero dosage, meaning without added sugars after disgorgement, allows a vibrant freshness and unparalleled gustatory clarity to emerge. On the nose, notes of white flowers, toasted almond, and a delicate minerality reminiscent of the lake's soil can be perceived. On the palate it is elegant, with persistent bubbles and sapidity inviting pleasant sip after sip.

Perfect as an aperitif or paired with delicate fish dishes, shellfish, and fresh cheeses, this sparkling wine embodies the balance between tradition and territory of the Lombard heart.

Winery history
The estate is documented as far back as 1782, and its present course took shape when Felice Dal Cero moved to Lugana di Sirmione in 1939. The Dal Cero family progressively bottled and promoted Lugana; in 1969 Pietro Dal Cero took part in the establishment of the appellation by bottling its first label. Today the estate is managed by succeeding generations of the family, who carry on production and activities tied to the local area.
Production philosophy
Careful work in the vineyard and cellar, with separate vinifications for each vineyard to capture the different expressions of the terroir. The estate declares respect for the raw material, up-to-date techniques and carefully planned ageing to produce wines with integrity and longevity.
Terroir and vineyards
The estate's main vineyards are concentrated in the Lugana di Sirmione area and around the tower of San Martino della Battaglia on Lake Garda; in the early 2000s the estate also acquired approximately 11 hectares in Valpolicella, where the Amarone 'Pietro Dal Cero' is produced.
