The Dolcetto d'Alba DOC Vigna Scot from Cavallotto is a red wine that expresses the immediate and natural character of the Dolcetto grown in the plot known as Vigna Scot. Produced by the Cavallotto estate, it offers a measured interpretation of the appellation's identity. It shows a bright ruby colour in the glass; on the nose there are aromas of small red fruit, delicate floral notes and slight herbal hints. The aromatic profile is frank and clean, unobtrusive, providing a clear reading of the variety and the DOC-indicated territory.

On the palate it displays a slim structure, moderate tannins and a fresh acidity that supports drinking; the finish is savoury and pleasant, with discreet persistence. It pairs well with everyday dishes such as cured meats, tomato-based pasta, white meats and fresh cheeses, and suits those looking for a wine ready to drink. It is advisable to serve it chilled, around 14–16 °C. A versatile choice to accompany meals without overpowering flavours.
