The Dorato Moscato Marche IGT from Garofoli shows a deep straw color, subtle golden highlights and an immediate, enveloping aroma. On the nose there are orange blossom, ripe peach and delicate hints of honey, accompanied by a citrus note that lightens the sweetness; the perlage is fine and gives a liveliness that makes the sip fragrant and inviting without weighing it down. It is a Moscato that favors aromatic elegance over sugary heaviness, with a clean olfactory profile and good persistence.

On the palate the sweetness is balanced by fresh acidity and a sleek, flowing, clean texture; the persistence remains pleasant, recalling the fruit and honey of the aromatic profile, with a finish that does not become cloying. It is well suited as a dessert wine, but works equally well with blue cheeses, dry pastries, fruit tarts or as a companion for a sweet aperitif: serving it at 6-8°C in small glasses enhances its aromatic character and drinkability, making it suitable for convivial moments and light culinary pairings.

Winery history
La Garofoli is a family-run company that has been part of Marche viticulture for generations. The company's official website presents the business as "Italian estate since 1901" and describes a family history developed over multiple generations; other specialized sources and technical datasheets report references to the family's activity as early as the late 19th century and to commercial production in vintages predating the 1900s. The company subsequently evolved with facilities in Castelfidardo and vinification structures for Verdicchio in the Serra de' Conti area, and expanded its presence with wines from Conero and other local appellations.
