Demerara Distillers was founded over 300 years ago in Guyana, and has managed to establish itself in the great panorama of the best Rum producers in the world.
This very special 15-year reserve is a very high quality product belonging to the Premium segment, that is a precious blend of aged and carefully selected Rums, in which the oldest has rested for a minimum of 25 years in oak.
Blended with wisdom by the master distillers of Demerara, it perfectly represents elegance and the utmost attention to the smallest details, even in the shape of the bottle, with a particular design inspired by the containers, which in ancient times were used by farmers to transport the distillate along the Demerara River, already defined at the time as the best rum in the Caribbean.
In the glass you can admire its warm, intense and luminous walnut color, intense aromas of dried apricot and plum jam arrive to the nose, with hints of exotic fruit in syrup and sweet streams of vanilla, together with darker references of tobacco, leather and pepper black. On the palate it is quite intense, full-bodied and elegant, somewhat balanced between fruity softness and gustatory structure, with a long finish that tastes of coffee.
