The Extra Brut Pur Meunier Millésimé Grand Cru signed by Juillet Lallement is a prestigious expression of the art of French winemaking, sourced from the renowned lands of Champagne. This champagne, specifically millésimé, indicates that all the grapes used come from the same exceptional year, reflecting the pure essence of that particular vintage.

The Extra Brut Pur Meunier stands out for its exclusive use of the Meunier grape, a bold choice that mirrors the uniqueness and production philosophy of the Juillet Lallement winery. Meunier grapes, famous for their robustness and vibrant aromatics, give this champagne a complex structure and a depth of flavor that is hard to forget.

In terms of aromatic profile, this champagne offers a rich and varied olfactory palette, with notes of ripe red fruits, a slight toastiness, and hints of fresh brioche. On the palate, it presents a lively and fresh attack, followed by a complexity of flavors including pear, green apple, and delicate spice nuances. The finish is long and persistent, with well-balanced acidity that promises excellent aging potential.

The Extra Brut approach, with a very low sugar addition, accentuates the purity and expressiveness of the terroir, making this champagne an excellent option for connoisseurs seeking an authentic and minimally manipulated tasting experience.

Ideal as an aperitif, the Extra Brut Pur Meunier Millésimé Grand Cru can also excellently accompany dishes based on raw fish or seafood, revealing its multiple facets in refined culinary pairings. A true treasure from Champagne that promises to deliver moments of pure pleasure with every sip.

Winery history
The Juillet-Lallement house was established at the beginning of the 20th century through a collaboration between Paul and Arthur Lallement and René Juillet, who registered the collective name R. JUILLET P. & A. LALLEMENT. Management passed to Pierre Lallement, and in 1973 the company joined the Club Trésors de Champagne. In the early 2000s the family baton was taken up by Jean Lallement, supported by his wife Virginie, who still run the business today.
Production philosophy
The approach focuses on respecting natural cycles and on considered, low-impact vineyard management; the stated aim is to showcase the terroirs and grape varieties through responsible farming practices.
Terroir and vineyards
The domaine is located in the heart of the Montagne de Reims, in the village of Verzy. The vineyards extend over two terroirs — Verzy and Sillery — both classified Grand Cru, on a chalky subsoil. The parcel structure comprises multiple plots with an average age of around 40 years, plus one older parcel planted in 1949.
