Falco Sangiovese Biodinamico Rubicone IGP from Fattoria Piccione is a red wine that showcases the Sangiovese variety's character in a natural way. In the glass it displays a bright ruby color with slight violet reflections; on the nose it offers aromas of small red fruits, hints of aromatic herbs and a subtle spicy note. The overall impression is clean and straightforward, with fresh tension that keeps the sip lively, while the tannins are present but well integrated into the structure.

On the palate it provides a medium-bodied feel, with balanced acidity that supports the fruit and gives good drive; the finish is of moderate length and echoes the aromatic impressions. This bottle is suitable for everyday drinking and pairs well with rustic cuisine: cold cuts, white meats, legume soups, pasta with sauce and medium-aged cheeses. Produced according to biodynamic indications stated on the label; serve at moderate temperature to appreciate its balance and freshness.

Founded: 1989
Grapes: Sangiovese, Ancellotta, Rebola, Chardonnay, Pagadebit
Historic winery in the village of San Savino with winemaking facilities in period buildings. Some labels are from wines in conversion to organic and from vineyards practicing biodynamics. Representative labels: Romagna Sangiovese Riserva 'Agello', Villa Massani, the passito 'Donna Teresa'. Direct sales, tastings and cellar visits available by appointment.
Winery history
La Fattoria del Piccione is housed in a historic complex in the hamlet of San Savino, on the hills of the Valconca in the province of Rimini. The Pasini family's winemaking activity is now recognized locally; several sources indicate that the modern estate was founded by Vitaliano Pasini at the end of the 20th century. The winery uses historic spaces connected to the borgo malatestiano for vinification and aging.
Production philosophy
The estate adopts a respectful approach to the land: cultivating its own vineyards, transitioning to organic farming and applying biodynamic practices to some labels, with an emphasis on minimal intervention in the cellar to express the wines' sense of place.
Terroir and vineyards
Located in the heart of the Valconca, a short distance from the Adriatic coast, the winery benefits from the gentle slopes and sea breees typical of the Colli di Rimini / Romagna; the territory is a central element in the identity of its labels.
