Pairing Fish, appetizers, white meats
Favorita Langhe DOC from Cascina Chicco presents a fresh, immediate profile — a white that highlights the grape’s simplicity without artifice. On the nose there are white flowers, white peach and a hint of citron, accompanied by a subtle herbaceous note that adds vivacity. The sip is lean yet tangible: well-calibrated acidity, a savory tension and restrained body allow a linear and pleasant progression. The texture is unobtrusive, leaving room for clarity and a fruity return that invites a second glass.

On the palate it confirms an easy-drinking character, with citrus notes that soften into a slight mineral streak, while a hint of bitterness on the finish adds character without weighing it down. It is perfect for delicate seafood preparations, shellfish appetizers, light risottos and fresh cheeses; it also lends itself to everyday drinking for those seeking elegance without complication. Serve chilled, preferably not ice-cold, to appreciate the freshness and persistence that make it a reliable companion at the table.
