This wine presents itself with a remarkable straw-yellow color. Its brilliance and luminosity are emphasized by a fine and continuous perlage, which adds a touch of refinement.

The nose reveals distinctive characteristics of Monte Orfano. It is a clear, sharp, and vibrant fragrance, with a saline freshness and intensely mineral quality. The aroma is extremely clean, inviting a unique sensory exploration.

The palate is delighted by a fresh acidity that blends impeccably with a soft structure. The tasting highlights a pleasant savory-mineral finish, adding complexity and balance to the wine.

Versatile wine that lends itself to multiple food and wine pairings. It is ideal for appetizers and seafood starters. It pairs beautifully with tortellini in broth and delicate fish dishes. Additionally, it can be enjoyed alongside cured meats.

Discover the story and wines of Corte Fusia.

Small Franciacorta winery based in Coccaglio (BS), dedicated to producing Franciacorta DOCG using the traditional method from vineyards on Monte Orfano.
Region: Lombardia
Country: Italia
Founded: 2010
Grapes: Chardonnay, Pinot Nero, Pinot Bianco
Production focused on Franciacorta in a range of styles: Brut, Satèn, Rosé and Millesimato. Vineyards exclusively on Monte Orfano, a distinctive feature of southern Franciacorta. Integrated viticulture and a low-impact approach in the vineyard and winery. Indicative annual production between 25,000 and 30,000 bottles. Winery visits and tastings by appointment; on-site wine shop.
Winery history
Corte Fusia was founded by Daniele Gentile and Gigi Nembrini. The idea took shape in 2010, and the estate developed around the cultivation and winemaking of grapes from Monte Orfano, with the winery housed in a restored historic courtyard in Coccaglio.
Production philosophy
Respect for the land and minimal intervention in the vineyard and cellar: the estate favors integrated viticulture practices and winemaking aimed at faithfully expressing the terroir, with any adjustments made exclusively using the wine itself.
Terroir and vineyards
Vineyards are located on the southern slope of Monte Orfano, on soils characterized by rocky, clay-rich and moderately calcareous components; exposure and hillside position influence the style of the wines.
