The Frappato IGT from Tareni, produced by the renowned Pellegrino winery, presents itself as an elegant and characterful red wine, perfectly encapsulating the essence of Sicily. This wine is particularly cherished for its distinctive aromatic profile and its pleasant freshness.

The Frappato IGT - Tareni - Pellegrino stands out for its vibrant ruby red color, with hues ranging from purple to garnet depending on aging. It offers an intriguing bouquet of fresh red fruits like strawberries and cherries, floral hints of violet, and a subtle spicy note reminiscent of black pepper and talcum powder. As it evolves in the glass, delicate nuances of aromatic herbs also emerge.

On the palate, the wine is light and fruity, with good acidity balancing the softness of the tannins, making it extremely enjoyable and drinkable. The aromatic persistence is remarkable, leaving a long trail of fresh and fruity sensations on the palate.

This Frappato IGT is the perfect accompaniment to Mediterranean cuisine, especially dishes featuring fish and white meats. It also pairs excellently with fresh or semi-mature cheeses. For optimal enjoyment, it is recommended to serve it slightly chilled, at a temperature of about 16-18°C.

The commitment to sustainability and love for the land are reflected in every bottle of Frappato IGT - Tareni - Pellegrino, making it not just a unique taste experience, but also the expression of a production philosophy attentive to the environment and biodiversity.
