The Friulano Collio DOC Ronco dei Folo from Folonari offers a fresh, straightforward profile. It shows a bright straw-yellow colour; on the nose there are white flowers, delicate herbaceous notes and a characteristic almond hint that enriches the aromatic picture without weighing it down. On the palate the wine is smooth and pleasantly saline, with a good balance of acidity and structure; the flavour profile remains linear, with citrus echoes and moderate persistence that make it immediate. Its moderate structure makes it versatile, able to stand up to more flavourful dishes without losing freshness.

It pairs well with fish and shellfish, light risottos, composed salads and fresh cheeses; it can also work as an aperitif wine. Recommended serving temperature is 10–12 °C and use a glass that is not too narrow to appreciate the aromas. Suitable for those seeking an everyday white, ready to drink, with character but no excess. Enjoyable by the glass, it also accompanies small convivial menus.

Winery history
The Folonari family has deep roots in the Brescia area and has been involved in wine production since the late 18th century. At the end of the 19th century the headquarters were moved to Brescia, and in the early 20th century the family acquired the historic Ruffino winery. In the 1960s Nino Folonari began a shift toward quality with the acquisition of estates in Chianti. In 2000 Ambrogio and Giovanni Folonari established Ambrogio e Giovanni Folonari Tenute, which brings together several estates in Tuscany, while the Folonari brand offers an extensive range of table wines and appellation wines.
Production philosophy
Enhance the production areas, combine tradition and innovation, and focus on grape quality to produce wines that are distinctive and closely tied to their territory; the company's plan includes investments in the estates and attention to the diversity of terroirs.
Terroir and vineyards
Headquarters and estates are mainly in Tuscany, with production and a presence also in north-eastern regions such as Veneto and in areas like the Collio; the company’s history begins in the Bresciano and includes references to territories around Lake Garda and beyond.
Awards and recognitions
The "Vinitaly Territory Ambassador" award was presented to Ambrogio e Giovanni Folonari Tenute.
