The Friulano from the Colli Orientali del Friuli by Livio Felluga offers a restrained, recognisable profile focused on harmony and clarity. On the nose there are notes of bitter almond, white flowers and a hint of fresh aromatic herbs, supported by a discreet mineral thread. On the palate it shows an upright texture, balanced acidity and pleasant persistence; the fruit is not dominant, allowing a light, savory finish that invites another sip.

This is a versatile wine, suitable to start a meal or to accompany not overly elaborate seafood dishes, carpaccios, delicate risottos and light cold cuts. Moderate serving temperature and broad glasses help to appreciate the aromas without forcing expression. Those who prefer simple pairings will find it enjoyable as a convivial wine; for those who like to explore, it can be interesting to compare it with other regional Friulano expressions to perceive stylistic nuances.

Winery history
Founded by Livio Felluga in 1956 after the post‑war rebuilding; Livio is regarded as the 'patriarch' of Friulian winemaking (he died in the night between Dec 21–22, 2016). The estate is family‑run (children Maurizio, Filippo, Elda and Andrea). The wine 'Illivio' was created by his children in 1998 and dedicated to him for his 85th birthday.
Production philosophy
Terroir-focused approach: careful vineyard work, respect for the territory (Rosazzo) and pursuit of quality. The 'Carta Geografica' serves as a manifesto of regional identity; wines are elegant, age-worthy and strongly expressive of place.
Terroir and vineyards
Vineyards located on the Rosazzo ridge and in the Colli Orientali del Friuli (province of Gorizia). Soils listed in technical sheets: marl and sandstone flysch of Eocene origin.
Awards and recognitions
