Garage Rosso Mandrolisai DOC di I Garagisti di Sorgono presents a bright ruby color and a forthright character: in the glass it reveals aromas of ripe red fruits, cherry and plum, hints of Mediterranean herbs and a light peppery spice. On the palate it shows good substance and a linear profile, with well-measured freshness that supports fine tannins; a savory note adds tension and makes the sip smooth. It is overall balanced, with a pleasant persistence that recalls the fruit and leaves a slightly earthy hint.

It is a red that enhances conviviality and traditional dishes: roasts, stews, game and flavorful cured meats find a good balance, as do medium-aged cheeses and meat ragù. Ideal for informal dinners but capable of standing up to more structured courses; it can be opened shortly before serving or briefly decanted to better express its aromatic notes. Serve slightly chilled to preserve its freshness, and enjoy it in company to appreciate its straightforwardness and pleasant persistence.

Terroir and vineyards
