The Garda Rosé Brut Spumante DOC produced by Cantina Avanzi is an excellent representative of Lombardy's rosé sparkling wines. This wine stands out for its freshness and vibrant effervescence, making it perfect to accompany festive moments or as an elegant aperitif.

Sourced from the picturesque hills surrounding Lake Garda, this sparkling wine is primarily made from the Groppello grape variety, enriched with notes from Marzemino, Sangiovese, and Barbera. This blend of grapes gives the Garda Rosé Brut a distinctive aromatic bouquet, featuring notes of red fruits like strawberries and raspberries, with subtle hints of spices and fresh flowers.

The color is a very elegant pale pink, and on the palate, it is well-balanced with good acidity and minerality that reflect the unique terroir of the production area. The mousse is fine and persistent, adding a pleasant texture that invites another sip.

Ideal to serve at a temperature of around 6-8°C, the Garda Rosé Brut Spumante DOC by Avanzi is perfect to enjoy while it's young to appreciate all its freshness. It pairs wonderfully with light appetizers, fish dishes, or as a companion to evening conversations.

Cantina Avanzi, a historic winery in the Garda area, is committed to maintaining high-quality standards, with a keen eye on sustainability and enhancing the territory, ensuring that every sip of their sparkling wine tells the story and traditions of the region.

Winery history
The Avanzi family began their winemaking activity with Giovanni Avanzi; the winery was expanded in the following decades with the involvement of his sons and subsequent generations. In the 21st century the cellar was renovated with a new underground facility and modern equipment for vinification and aging; the estate operates in the Lake Garda area and still maintains a strong family identity.
Production philosophy
Produced exclusively from estate-grown grapes, with a strong focus on terroir: each wine must express the quality of its place of origin. The winery also states a commitment to sustainability and to promoting local specialties, both for Lugana whites and Garda/Valtènesi reds.
