Genever 5Yo 100cl - Zuidam Genever is a Dutch distillate that embodies the centuries-old tradition of genever, the ancestor of modern gin. Produced in the Baarle-Nassau region, this genever is made from a blend of selected cereals, including corn, rye, and barley malt, carefully distilled according to artisanal methods.
The five-year aging in wooden barrels gives this genever a unique complexity: the wood imparts warm notes of vanilla, hazelnut, and a slight smoky touch, harmonizing with the herbal and spicy botanical characteristics typical of genever. On the nose, malt and floral hints emerge, while on the palate it offers a soft and velvety structure, with a persistent and spicy finish, ideal for those seeking an authentic and profound experience.
