This Gewurztraminer DOC from Alto Adige by Erste+Neue offers a recognizable, restrained aromatic profile: the bouquet recalls floral and fruity notes, with hints of rose, lychee and subtle spice in the background. The colour is bright straw, while on the nose the olfactory component is clear and balanced, without overlaps. There is a pleasant aromatic intensity that stays on elegant rather than dominant tones, making the wine immediately approachable.

On the palate it proves soft and enveloping, with a structure that favors aromatic substance and a freshness that supports the drinking without being aggressive. Tannins are absent or imperceptible, as can be expected for this type of wine, while the persistence leaves fragrant rather than intense impressions. It pairs well with flavourful fish dishes, delicate white meats and fresh cheeses; it is also suitable as a contemplative wine for those who appreciate pronounced aromatic profiles. It is advisable to serve it cool and taste it in glasses that emphasize the aromas.
