Gin 1881 from Liquori di Romagna presents a clean, balanced profile: juniper is the protagonist without dominating, supported by a fresh citrus thread and light aromatic nuances that lighten its structure. On the palate the sensation is clean and restrained, with a controlled roundness that highlights persistence and drinkability; the body is medium, the finish dry and pleasantly savory, suitable both for sipping neat and for more refined mixes. The personality remains coherent and invites different tasting approaches. It's a gin designed to enter gracefully into a well-balanced gin & tonic, but it performs just as well in classic cocktails that require olfactory clarity.

As an accompaniment it harmonizes with seafood snacks, cured meats that are not overly salty, and fresh cheeses, and it retains its vitality even when served with a light citrus fruit salad. It is recommended to serve slightly chilled to preserve the aromatic depth.
