"Star" Gin by Bombay Sapphire was born in 2015, the highest expression of great capacity. An excellent distillate created by master distiller Nikolas Fordham and master botanist Ivano Tonutti, using the "Slow single batch" distillation method and the addition of two special botanicals, the peel of Italian bergamot and Abelmosk seeds.
The special bottle, designed by Thomas Heatherwick, recalls the original version, but with a more elongated and tapered shape, featuring bas-reliefs on the sides and deeper grooves.
The color is light and bright. On the nose, the classic notes of juniper emerge, with elegant hints of bergamot and a spicy fragrance highlighted by black pepper. On the palate, it is particularly soft and velvety, with a burst of spices in the finish.
