Gin Copperhead was born from a desire of Yvan Vindevogel a Belgian pharmacist who one day was inspired by a newspaper article dedicated to Gin, read in the summer of 2013.
The article, which recounted the birth and history of that fantastic distillate, prompted the pharmacist to start a collaboration with Bernard Filliers, owner and manager of the homonymous distillery and with the alchemist Mr. Copperhead, who devised the recipe and from which it takes its name.
Retracing the history of Gin, Vindevogel and Filliers were fascinated by what is a mix of alchemy, botany and medicine, in the past often called the "elixir of life".
From popular beliefs to science gave rise to Copperhead Gin, produced with: elderberries, juniper, cardamom, angelica, coriander seeds and orange peel, a distillate ready to surprise all the senses of lovers and connoisseurs of the genre .
A London Dry Gin that can be enriched and customized by different blends, in order to become, according to the choice, an energizing cocktail, an aperitif or digestive glass.
