Descrizione

MARCONI 46 Poli is an Italian gin handcrafted distilled and obtained from a unique infusion of juniper berries, muscat grapes, mountain pine, stone pine, mint, cardamom and coriander inspired by the Asiago plateau north of Veneto, where the Poli family originates.

The distillation is carried out by hand with Crysopea, a vacuum bain-marie still.

The aroma of juniper is strong and intense on the nose, making it fresh and balsamic. The taste is soft thanks to the Moscato grape berries, with elegant notes of cardamom and coriander.

Distillation

Artisanal distillation with discontinuous water-bath stills (copper boilers) for grappas and distillates; a vacuum water-bath still (Crysopea) is used for some gin references.

Ageing

Aging in casks/barrique; specific examples include whisky aged in white oak casks for 5 years (e.g. Conclave) and products using barrique/solera systems for some aged grappas.
