Originating from the green hills of the Speyside region in Scotland, the Glenfarclas 1991 is a single malt Scotch whisky that celebrates the traditional art of distillation passed down through generations in the Grant family, who have owned the distillery since 1865.

This refined whisky was distilled in 1991 and has spent over two decades in oak barrels that previously housed sherry, giving it extraordinary depth and complexity. Presented in a 70cl bottle, expertly encased, it enhances its aura of exclusivity.

On the nose, Glenfarclas 1991 offers a rich and enveloping bouquet, with dominant notes of dried fruit such as raisins and plums, enriched by nuances of dark chocolate and a light spicing of cinnamon and nutmeg. The oak provides a warm and enveloping background, elevated by slight hints of tobacco and leather.

On the palate, it is full and round, with an initial sweetness that slowly gives way to a more spiced and intense experience. Flavors of cooked apple, caramelized pears, and orange marmalade mix with those of dried fruit and sweet spices, creating a perfect balance between sweetness and complexity.

The finish of Glenfarclas 1991 is long, warm, and persistent, with an elegant resurgence of chocolate and sherry notes that leave a lasting impression.

Perfect as a gift for a connoisseur or to be enjoyed on special occasions, this whisky leaves an indelible mark both for its historical quality and its excellent organoleptic characteristics. Pair it with a quality cigar or enjoy its aromatic profile while watching a warm autumn sunset.
