The Gran Cuvée Metodo Classico from the renowned Velenosi winery represents excellence in the Italian wine landscape, specifically in the sparkling wine category. This wine is the result of a careful selection of grapes, processed following the rigorous Metodo Classico, which involves second fermentation in the bottle.

Visually, it presents a brilliant straw yellow color, enhanced by a fine and persistent perlage that caresses the palate and enhances the original grapes. On the nose, the bouquet is complex and seductive: notes of fresh fruit such as green apple and peach stand out, blending with more evolved sensations of yeast and brioche, typical of long-aged sparkling wines.

On the palate, Velenosi's Gran Cuvée Metodo Classico is balanced and fresh. The attack is vigorous but elegant, with a pleasant acidity that supports the drink, making it lively and engaging. The fruity flavors mix with a delightful creaminess, a result of the maturation sur lie. The finish is long and persistent, with a lingering aftertaste reminiscent of bread crust and citrus notes.

Ideal as an aperitif, this sparkling wine is also an excellent companion for light appetizers and fish-based dishes. Its versatility makes it suitable for an entire dinner, with a particular affinity for delicate and lightly seasoned dishes.

The Velenosi winery, with its Gran Cuvée Metodo Classico, confirms its ability to create high-quality wines that masterfully and elegantly express their terroir. A toast with this sparkling wine is not just a moment of enjoyable tasting but also an experience that connects one to the territory and Italian winemaking tradition.
