Gran Marnier was created at the end of the 19th century by Louis-Alexandre Marnier Lapostolle, which later became one of the best known French liqueurs in the world.
It is made from a blend of Cognac with the addition of a distilled essence of tropical oranges. A unique and unmistakable taste, contained in an iconic bottle, which still today continues to be the most used to recreate numerous cocktails thanks to the refined touch it manages to give.
It shows a beautiful bright amber yellow color with ruby reflections. Sweet hints of candied orange peel and citrus marmalade arrive on the nose, with spicy aromas of cinnamon and cloves, as well as floral returns of orange blossom and broom. The taste is extremely enveloping and warm, with pleasant sweet fruity perceptions, a long and persistent finish of vanilla and toasted notes.
Ideal for dialing the iconic Old Fashioned and B-52. Excellent sipped with ice and orange peel for a relaxing break.
