Penfolds Grange Bin 95 Shiraz 2019 shows a deep ruby color with an intense core. The nose offers aromas of ripe black fruits, plum and blackberry, accompanied by delicate spice and dark chocolate notes; a slight floral touch supports the primary aromas. On the palate it is concentrated and structured, with present tannins and a balance between soft extract and acidity that keeps the tasting lively. The finish is persistent and leaves fruity and spicy echoes.

It is advisable to open the bottle in advance and, if possible, decant before serving to integrate the aromas. Serving temperature around 16–18 °C to best appreciate the components. Pairs well with red meats, hearty braises and hard cheeses; it can also be served with mushroom dishes or rich sauces. Store in a cool, steady place away from heat sources.

Winery history
Penfolds was founded in Magill when Christopher and Mary Penfold planted the first vines in 1844. Over the decades the winery grew from local production of fortified and table wines to an international presence, with key moments such as the arrival of Max Schubert and the experimentation that led to the creation of the famous Grange in the 1950s. Today Penfolds combines tradition and innovation, continuing to nurture historic vineyards and select fruit from many regions for its flagship wines.
