The distillation process follows the most traditional methods, using discontinuous bain-marie pot stills, which allow for the preservation of the delicate aromatic notes of the grape variety. Once distilled, the grappa is left to rest for a brief period in small stainless steel containers to harmonize flavors and aromas before bottling.
To the eye, it appears clear and crystalline, inviting a tasting that promises to be rich in personality. On the nose, it offers a complex bouquet, where notes of fresh red fruit, a light touch of vanilla, and sweet spices stand out, a testament to the excellence of the Nebbiolo grape variety. On the palate, the Grappa AB Selezione Cru Barolo surprises with its elegant softness, balanced by an intense aromatic persistence that recalls the authentic flavors of vinified Barolo.
Ideal as a digestif, this grappa can be enjoyed at the end of a meal, offering a sensory experience that reflects the tradition and quality of the Piedmontese territory. It is also perfect as a gift for lovers of refined distillates or as a sophisticated addition to one's own spirits cellar.
This grappa not only expresses the quality of an ancient distilling tradition but also bears witness to the richness and depth that Barolo can achieve, even in the form of a spirit. A true delight for the most demanding palates.
