Aged in barrique barrels, the Grappa Berta Giulia Chardonnay Barrique acquires complexity and a remarkable aromatic richness. Aging in small wooden barrels allows the spirit to absorb sophisticated nuances, enriched by hints of vanilla and spicy notes that blend harmoniously with the freshness of the Chardonnay grapes. The result is a distillate of an elegant amber color, with an olfactory profile that gently caresses the nose with delicate aromas of ripe fruit, honey, and light toasty touches.
On the palate, the Grappa Berta Giulia Chardonnay Barrique reveals itself as smooth and balanced, with a structure that perfectly balances the alcohol with the acidity. The flavor persistence is long and pleasantly enveloping, leaving a sensation of warmth and complexity that invites a second sip.
This grappa is ideal to be served at room temperature as a digestif after a meal, or it can be used as a refined base for artisanal cocktails. In every glass, the Grappa Berta Giulia Chardonnay Barrique promises a rich and unforgettable sensory experience, satisfying both the spirit enthusiast and the newcomer eager to explore high-quality distilled traditions.

Distillation
Steam distillation with discontinuous small boilers (caldaiette discontinue); three-step process: first distillation to obtain the flemma, cold filtration, and second distillation to separate the heart; both pomace and wine/grape are distilled for different productions.
Ageing
Aging first in large Slavonian oak vats (vat cellar) and prolonged in barriques and tonneaux (Tronçais d’Allier oak) in underground cellars; some products mature for years in naturally thermoregulated environments; an R&D cellar is used for experiments.
