Distilled from carefully selected pomace, the Riserva Rondena undergoes an aging process in wooden barrels that gives it a surprising aromatic complexity and a soft, enveloping structure. The wood not only enriches the grappa with vanilla nuances but also adds notes of dried fruit, chocolate, and spices, creating an intricate and pleasantly persistent bouquet to the nose.
On the palate, this grappa exhibits a perfect balance between the robustness of the alcohol and the sweetness of the flavors derived from the wood. The mouthfeel is velvety, with a long and satisfying aftertaste that invites a second sip. The Riserva Rondena is a true triumph of flavors, ideal for enjoying at the end of a meal, perhaps alongside a good espresso or a piece of dark chocolate.
With an alcohol content of 40%, this grappa is not only a pleasure for the palate but also a cherished gift for grappa lovers and connoisseurs of quality spirits. Presented in an elegant bottle, Berta Grappa Riserva Rondena Cl.70 - Wood is also an excellent gift idea for special occasions, guaranteeing an unforgettable tasting experience for anyone who appreciates finely crafted and masterfully aged distillates.

Distillation
Steam distillation with discontinuous small boilers (caldaiette discontinue); three-step process: first distillation to obtain the flemma, cold filtration, and second distillation to separate the heart; both pomace and wine/grape are distilled for different productions.
Ageing
Aging first in large Slavonian oak vats (vat cellar) and prolonged in barriques and tonneaux (Tronçais d’Allier oak) in underground cellars; some products mature for years in naturally thermoregulated environments; an R&D cellar is used for experiments.
