A true celebration of the winemaking traditions of Emilia Romagna, the Gutturnio Frizzante Spago DOC produced by Il Poggiarello winery captures the heart of those seeking a sparkling wine with distinct character. Located in the picturesque region of the Quattro Valli, Il Poggiarello winery is renowned for its devotion to winemaking techniques that enhance the local terroir and native varieties.

The Gutturnio Frizzante Spago DOC is a harmonious blend of Barbera and Bonarda, which provide the wine with a balanced structure and vigorous complexity. The fermentation takes place in stainless steel containers to preserve the freshness and authenticity of the fruit, followed by a brief bottle maturation that helps develop the subtle sparkling bubbles.

On the nose, the Gutturnio stands out for its intense aromas of fresh red fruit, notes of cherry and raspberry, with a slight touch of violet. On the palate, the wine reveals a lively and pleasantly acidic freshness, balanced by a moderate effervescence that makes each sip delightfully refreshing.

Ideal as an aperitif, this wine pairs perfectly with cured meats and soft cheeses, dishes from the traditional Emilian home cooking, or simply enjoyed on its own during convivial occasions. The bottle is sealed with traditional twine, a nod to ancient winemaking practices, which not only ensures freshness but also adds a touch of rustic elegance to the presentation.

An invitation to rediscover simple pleasures, the Gutturnio Frizzante Spago DOC from Il Poggiarello is a shining example of how modernity can embrace tradition to offer unforgettable tasting experiences.
