The Hermitage AOP Blanc "Chante-Alouette" by M. Chapoutier is a sublime example of Marsanne, an indigenous variety which finds its terroir of choice in the Hermitage appellation. This white wine embodies the essence of Chapoutier's philosophy, which aims for the purest and most authentic expression of the vineyard, through biodynamic practices and a deep respect for the land.

"Chante-Alouette" comes from some of the Hermitage's most renowned Marsanne plots, where the unique microclimate and mineral-rich soil give the wine distinctive characteristics and extraordinary complexity. The scrupulous attention in the vineyard and the vinification aimed at preserving the integrity of the fruit translate into a white of exceptional quality and longevity.

On the nose, the "Chante-Alouette" amazes with its aromatic richness, offering complex layers of ripe white pulp fruit, floral notes of acacia and jasmine, followed by nuances of honey, toasted almond and a delicate minerality reminiscent of flint . These seductive aromas herald a palate of extraordinary elegance and depth.

In the mouth, the wine presents a perfect balance between richness and freshness, with a creamy texture that envelops the palate, revealing intense flavors of peach, pear, melon and underlining of aromatic herbs and sweet spices, which blend into a long finish and mineral, testifying to the great aging capacity of this wine.

The "Chante-Alouette" is a wine that invites contemplation, ideal to accompany refined dishes such as lobster, fish in creamy sauce, roast chicken with aromatic herbs or soft cheeses. It is also magnificent to enjoy on its own, as an experience that celebrates the grandeur of Marsanne and the unique terroir of Hermitage.

This wine represents not only M. Chapoutier's excellence in producing complex, long-lived white wines, but also his commitment to responsible and environmentally friendly viticulture, offering wine lovers an authentic and memorable experience.
