Pairing Fish, light appetizers, Mediterranean dishes
I Marini Verdeca Salento IGP di Felline presents an immediate, well-defined character: luminous straw yellow; on the nose it opens with notes of cedar and grapefruit, white flowers and a hint of aromatic Mediterranean herbs. The saline element is noticeable but never overpowering, lending freshness and a clear olfactory tension. Overall it communicates cleanliness and elegance, without exuberance; it’s a white that manages to be both approachable and substantial.

On the palate it delivers what the aroma promises: acidity is lively but balanced, and the sapidity supports the sip and provides easy drinkability. Medium-light body, with restrained softness that leaves room for drinkability and a pleasant persistence. It pairs well with simple seafood dishes, carpaccios, light soups and vegetable-based plates or fresh cheeses; also excellent as an aperitif with savory bites. Serve chilled, around 8–10 °C, to appreciate the contrast between freshness and structure.
