This fascinating Etna Rosso DOC 2019 is produced by Tenute Tozzi, a winery that takes advantage of the unique volcanic conditions of Mount Etna to cultivate vines that create wines of extraordinary complexity. I Turrizzi 2019 reveals itself in the glass with a deep ruby red color, anticipating the olfactory sensations of ripe red fruits, spicy notes, and a hint of tobacco that invites tasting. On the palate, it is rich and well-structured, with a fresh acidity and elegant tannins that blend perfectly with the flavors of cherry, blueberry, and a slight mineral hint inherited from the volcanic soil. This wine, aged in wooden barrels to offer optimal bouquet evolution, is ideal for accompanying red meat dishes, game, or aged cheeses. A true example of how the impact of Etna’s terroir can be masterfully captured in a bottle.

The company operates across two estates: Terra dei Gessi and Tenuta Vinca, continuing local agricultural traditions while offering a contemporary interpretation of the territory.
