Il Pareto Cabernet Sauvignon Toscana IGT 1998, offered in magnum format and presented in a wooden case, comes from Tenuta di Nozzole and is distributed by Folonari. It is a Cabernet Sauvignon indicated on the label with the Toscana IGT designation and the 1998 vintage, details that inform tasting and storage decisions. The magnum format and wooden case suggest a focus on preservation and sharing, making it suitable for occasions when a structured wine is poured slowly.

On tasting it shows a measured profile: dark fruit, light spicy notes and tannins that are present but balanced for its age, with a body that invites slow aeration in a decanter or in an opened bottle. It is advisable to pair it with savory dishes based on meat, roasts or aged cheeses, while remaining cautious in evaluation because of its age. Store in stable temperature and humidity conditions and consume the bottles carefully, favoring opening and sharing within a short timeframe.

Winery history
The Folonari family has deep roots in the Brescia area and has been involved in wine production since the late 18th century. At the end of the 19th century the headquarters were moved to Brescia, and in the early 20th century the family acquired the historic Ruffino winery. In the 1960s Nino Folonari began a shift toward quality with the acquisition of estates in Chianti. In 2000 Ambrogio and Giovanni Folonari established Ambrogio e Giovanni Folonari Tenute, which brings together several estates in Tuscany, while the Folonari brand offers an extensive range of table wines and appellation wines.
Production philosophy
Enhance the production areas, combine tradition and innovation, and focus on grape quality to produce wines that are distinctive and closely tied to their territory; the company's plan includes investments in the estates and attention to the diversity of terroirs.
Terroir and vineyards
Headquarters and estates are mainly in Tuscany, with production and a presence also in north-eastern regions such as Veneto and in areas like the Collio; the company’s history begins in the Bresciano and includes references to territories around Lake Garda and beyond.
Awards and recognitions
The "Vinitaly Territory Ambassador" award was presented to Ambrogio e Giovanni Folonari Tenute.
