The Il Pareto Cabernet Sauvignon Toscana IGT 1999 in magnum format, presented in a wooden case by Tenuta di Nozzole (Folonari), is a collectible bottle suited to contemplative tasting. Given the 1999 vintage, the wine may show a more mature profile: notes of ripe dark fruit are accompanied by developed nuances; in the background appear tobacco, mild spices and leather in moderation. On the palate it retains structure and depth, with rounded tannins and a flavor texture that encourages slow tasting.

It is recommended to open the bottle carefully and allow it to breathe for a while before serving, at a temperature appropriate for full-bodied red wines. The magnum format promotes a slower evolution and pairs well with red meat dishes, roasts or aged cheeses, always taking into account the current characteristics of the bottle at the time of tasting. It may interest collectors and enthusiasts of Cabernet Sauvignon and represents an appropriate choice for special occasions.

Winery history
The Folonari family has deep roots in the Brescia area and has been involved in wine production since the late 18th century. At the end of the 19th century the headquarters were moved to Brescia, and in the early 20th century the family acquired the historic Ruffino winery. In the 1960s Nino Folonari began a shift toward quality with the acquisition of estates in Chianti. In 2000 Ambrogio and Giovanni Folonari established Ambrogio e Giovanni Folonari Tenute, which brings together several estates in Tuscany, while the Folonari brand offers an extensive range of table wines and appellation wines.
Production philosophy
Enhance the production areas, combine tradition and innovation, and focus on grape quality to produce wines that are distinctive and closely tied to their territory; the company's plan includes investments in the estates and attention to the diversity of terroirs.
Terroir and vineyards
Headquarters and estates are mainly in Tuscany, with production and a presence also in north-eastern regions such as Veneto and in areas like the Collio; the company’s history begins in the Bresciano and includes references to territories around Lake Garda and beyond.
Awards and recognitions
The "Vinitaly Territory Ambassador" award was presented to Ambrogio e Giovanni Folonari Tenute.
