Il Pareto Cabernet Sauvignon Toscana IGT 2000, offered in magnum and presented in a wooden case by Tenuta di Nozzole for Folonari, is a wine that shows signs of age. Made from Cabernet Sauvignon and carrying the Toscana IGT designation, it displays an aromatic profile tending toward evolved notes, a pronounced structure and still noticeable tannins; the overall impression is of a compact, restrained red without excess. Tasting it requires attention: balance among components and a persistence that invites a measured tasting.

It pairs with red meat dishes, game and aged cheeses, favoring savory, fatty preparations that highlight its substance. To best appreciate its aromas, it is advisable to open the bottle in advance or decant carefully; serve at around 16–18 °C. The magnum format also suggests a sharing experience: ideal for important dinners or for those seeking a vintage example in well cared-for condition.

Winery history
The Folonari family has deep roots in the Brescia area and has been involved in wine production since the late 18th century. At the end of the 19th century the headquarters were moved to Brescia, and in the early 20th century the family acquired the historic Ruffino winery. In the 1960s Nino Folonari began a shift toward quality with the acquisition of estates in Chianti. In 2000 Ambrogio and Giovanni Folonari established Ambrogio e Giovanni Folonari Tenute, which brings together several estates in Tuscany, while the Folonari brand offers an extensive range of table wines and appellation wines.
Production philosophy
Enhance the production areas, combine tradition and innovation, and focus on grape quality to produce wines that are distinctive and closely tied to their territory; the company's plan includes investments in the estates and attention to the diversity of terroirs.
Terroir and vineyards
Headquarters and estates are mainly in Tuscany, with production and a presence also in north-eastern regions such as Veneto and in areas like the Collio; the company’s history begins in the Bresciano and includes references to territories around Lake Garda and beyond.
Awards and recognitions
The "Vinitaly Territory Ambassador" award was presented to Ambrogio e Giovanni Folonari Tenute.
