The Pareto Cabernet Sauvignon Toscana IGT 2011 from Tenuta di Nozzole (Folonari) is presented in a Jeroboam format packed in a wooden case. In the glass it shows a deep ruby colour consistent with the structure of the variety and the vintage. On the nose there are impressions of ripe red fruit, darker notes of cherry and plum, accompanied by light vegetative hints and a discreet spicy undertone. On the palate it is broad and concentrated, with present but well-integrated tannins and a minerality that supports the sip; the finish tends toward an even persistence without excess.

This wine is intended to be enjoyed with red meats, roasts and matured cheeses; it can stand up to flavourful preparations and pairings that require structure. Recommended serving temperature is around 16–18 °C; open in advance for those preferring greater aromatic openness. The Jeroboam bottle in a wooden case also makes it suitable for occasions when a shareable format is desired or as an item for storage. Technical information, such as vinification methods or ageing, comes from the producer Folonari and Tenuta di Nozzole.

Winery history
The Folonari family has deep roots in the Brescia area and has been involved in wine production since the late 18th century. At the end of the 19th century the headquarters were moved to Brescia, and in the early 20th century the family acquired the historic Ruffino winery. In the 1960s Nino Folonari began a shift toward quality with the acquisition of estates in Chianti. In 2000 Ambrogio and Giovanni Folonari established Ambrogio e Giovanni Folonari Tenute, which brings together several estates in Tuscany, while the Folonari brand offers an extensive range of table wines and appellation wines.
Production philosophy
Enhance the production areas, combine tradition and innovation, and focus on grape quality to produce wines that are distinctive and closely tied to their territory; the company's plan includes investments in the estates and attention to the diversity of terroirs.
Terroir and vineyards
Headquarters and estates are mainly in Tuscany, with production and a presence also in north-eastern regions such as Veneto and in areas like the Collio; the company’s history begins in the Bresciano and includes references to territories around Lake Garda and beyond.
Awards and recognitions
The "Vinitaly Territory Ambassador" award was presented to Ambrogio e Giovanni Folonari Tenute.
