Il Pareto Cabernet Sauvignon Toscana IGT 2017 from Tenuta di Nozzole (Folonari) shows an intense, compact ruby color with good clarity. On the nose it offers a profile centered on dark berries, plum and cherry, accompanied by light herbal notes and subtle spice nuances that add complexity without excess. Packaged in a wooden case, the presentation reflects careful handling, suitable as a gift or for short-term storage.

On the palate it reveals present but balanced tannins, a moderately sustained structure and pleasant persistence that make the sip harmonious. It pairs naturally with grilled red meats, braised dishes and aged cheeses; savory, structured dishes highlight its body. Serve at 16–18 °C; if desired, allow the wine a short period to breathe before tasting. Suitable for informal gatherings as well as more formal occasions, it also pairs well with traditional Tuscan dishes.

Winery history
The Folonari family has deep roots in the Brescia area and has been involved in wine production since the late 18th century. At the end of the 19th century the headquarters were moved to Brescia, and in the early 20th century the family acquired the historic Ruffino winery. In the 1960s Nino Folonari began a shift toward quality with the acquisition of estates in Chianti. In 2000 Ambrogio and Giovanni Folonari established Ambrogio e Giovanni Folonari Tenute, which brings together several estates in Tuscany, while the Folonari brand offers an extensive range of table wines and appellation wines.
Production philosophy
Enhance the production areas, combine tradition and innovation, and focus on grape quality to produce wines that are distinctive and closely tied to their territory; the company's plan includes investments in the estates and attention to the diversity of terroirs.
Terroir and vineyards
Headquarters and estates are mainly in Tuscany, with production and a presence also in north-eastern regions such as Veneto and in areas like the Collio; the company’s history begins in the Bresciano and includes references to territories around Lake Garda and beyond.
