Il Kallmet della cantina Uka è un vino rosso che esprime tutta la ricchezza del terroir albanese. Questo vino è ottenuto da uve Kallmet, una varietà autoctona che storicamente ha avuto un ruolo importante nella viticoltura della regione. La lavorazione attenta e rispettosa delle tradizioni locali permette di esaltare le caratteristiche peculiari di queste uve.

Al naso, il Kallmet presenta una complessa varietà di aromi che spaziano dalle note fruttate di ciliegia e prugna a quelle speziate di pepe nero e cacao, con sentori di tabacco e cuoio che emergono dalla maturazione in botte. Al palato, si distingue per il suo equilibrio tra freschezza e tannini setosi, offrendo una struttura robusta ma armoniosa che lo rende piacevole da bere. Il finale è lungo e persistente, con una buona acidità che pulisce il palato e invoglia a un ulteriore sorso.

Winery history
Réva began as a project dedicated to enhancing the vineyards of the Langhe around Monforte d’Alba. The official website and promotional materials describe rapid growth that led to the relocation of production to Località Gallinotto and the acquisition of vineyards in several of the appellation’s historic crus.
Production philosophy
Quality-focused approach: hand selection of grapes, spontaneous fermentations and aging in selected oak barrels. The stated style emphasizes depth, structure and balance, with a contemporary take on the Langhe tradition.
