Kerria Lacrima di Morro d’Alba DOC from Garofoli shows a bright ruby color and a fragrant bouquet that leans more floral than fruity: roses and light raspberry notes intertwine with a hint of spice, never becoming overpowering. On the palate it is juicy and smooth, supported by fresh acidity and fine tannins that define its structure without weighing it down; medium-bodied, with a pleasant persistence that recalls fruit and leaves a sense of finesse.

Best enjoyed young for its liveliness, it is recommended to serve it slightly chilled to highlight its aromas and drinkability; it is an ideal companion for cured meats that aren’t overly aged, fresh cheeses, flavorful first courses and grilled white meats. Versatile and of moderate character, it fits as well at an informal lunch as at a dinner where a wine pleasant by the glass and for the aperitif is sought.

Winery history
La Garofoli is a family-run company that has been part of Marche viticulture for generations. The company's official website presents the business as "Italian estate since 1901" and describes a family history developed over multiple generations; other specialized sources and technical datasheets report references to the family's activity as early as the late 19th century and to commercial production in vintages predating the 1900s. The company subsequently evolved with facilities in Castelfidardo and vinification structures for Verdicchio in the Serra de' Conti area, and expanded its presence with wines from Conero and other local appellations.
