The Côte AOC Tartegnin Blanc Grand Cru "Vigne du Baron", created under the aegis of Baron de Ladoucette, one of the most prestigious producers with a long history in the production of high quality wines, is an exemplary expression of elegance and refinement that characterize the best white wines of Switzerland. Situated along the fertile slopes overlooking Lake Geneva, the La Côte region is renowned for its limestone and mineral-rich soils, which give the wines a distinctive minerality and complexity.

Produced mainly with Chasselas grapes, the most famous white grape variety in Switzerland, this Grand Cru "Vigne du Baron" stands out for its balanced structure, its intense aroma and its lively acidity. The wine reveals an intricate bouquet of white flowers, white pulp fruits, and mineral notes to the nose, with a subtle hint of hazelnut and spice adding complexity.

In the mouth, elegance is the key word, with a silky texture that envelops the palate. The freshness is supported by a crunchy minerality that leads to a long and persistent finish, marking a perfect balance between aromatic richness and clean taste. Maturation in carefully chosen French oak barriques could enrich the wine with subtle toasted notes, without overpowering the freshness and purity of the fruit.

Ideal food pairings for this Tartegnin Blanc Grand Cru include delicate fish dishes, seafood, light starters and soft cheeses, all of which can benefit from its elegant structure and lively acidity.

Winery history
The company's roots date back to the Comte Lafond family, who at the end of the 18th century acquired the vineyards of Château du Nozet in Pouilly. The estate is now owned by the de Ladoucette family, and under the leadership of Baron Patrick de Ladoucette it has expanded to include vineyards and labels in the Sancerre area. The cuvée "Baron de L" was created as the estate's most extreme expression of Sauvignon and is produced only in years considered the best.
