La Forra Chianti Classico Riserva DOCG 2020 in magnum format, presented in a wooden case, is a wine from Tenuta di Nozzole distributed by Folonari. It shows a balanced structure and an intense yet measured aromatic profile, with hints of ripe fruit, light spice notes and an earthy underpinning. The entry on the palate is enveloping, supported by well-integrated tannins that give body and persistence without being excessive. The wooden case emphasizes its character as a gift or a bottle to share on important occasions.

It pairs well with meat dishes, aged cheeses and traditional recipes, while its versatility also suits convivial tables. A moderate serving temperature and decanting before tasting are recommended to better appreciate its aromas. The magnum format makes it interesting for storage and for occasions when several people will be served; keeping it in a cool, stable place will help preserve its integrity.

Winery history
The Folonari family has deep roots in the Brescia area and has been involved in wine production since the late 18th century. At the end of the 19th century the headquarters were moved to Brescia, and in the early 20th century the family acquired the historic Ruffino winery. In the 1960s Nino Folonari began a shift toward quality with the acquisition of estates in Chianti. In 2000 Ambrogio and Giovanni Folonari established Ambrogio e Giovanni Folonari Tenute, which brings together several estates in Tuscany, while the Folonari brand offers an extensive range of table wines and appellation wines.
Production philosophy
Enhance the production areas, combine tradition and innovation, and focus on grape quality to produce wines that are distinctive and closely tied to their territory; the company's plan includes investments in the estates and attention to the diversity of terroirs.
Terroir and vineyards
Headquarters and estates are mainly in Tuscany, with production and a presence also in north-eastern regions such as Veneto and in areas like the Collio; the company’s history begins in the Bresciano and includes references to territories around Lake Garda and beyond.
Awards and recognitions
