La Pietra Chardonnay Toscana IGT 1984 from Tenute del Cabreo for Folonari is a vintage white wine presented in a wooden case. Given its age, it appears as a mature specimen: the color tends toward golden-amber hues and the olfactory profile may show developed aromas, ripe fruit and tertiary notes. Each bottle reflects its history and variability is natural, so it is important to check the condition of the bottle and the cork before purchase.

For service, open carefully and consider a short decanting for any sediment; serve at a cool temperature, around 10–12 °C. It is recommended to check the olfactory and gustatory integrity before pairing: it can accompany flavorful fish, mushroom dishes or aged cheeses, or be enjoyed on its own as a contemplative wine. The information provided refers to the name, designation, grape variety, vintage and packaging stated by the producer. Caution is advised when purchasing.

Winery history
The Folonari family has deep roots in the Brescia area and has been involved in wine production since the late 18th century. At the end of the 19th century the headquarters were moved to Brescia, and in the early 20th century the family acquired the historic Ruffino winery. In the 1960s Nino Folonari began a shift toward quality with the acquisition of estates in Chianti. In 2000 Ambrogio and Giovanni Folonari established Ambrogio e Giovanni Folonari Tenute, which brings together several estates in Tuscany, while the Folonari brand offers an extensive range of table wines and appellation wines.
Production philosophy
Enhance the production areas, combine tradition and innovation, and focus on grape quality to produce wines that are distinctive and closely tied to their territory; the company's plan includes investments in the estates and attention to the diversity of terroirs.
Terroir and vineyards
Headquarters and estates are mainly in Tuscany, with production and a presence also in north-eastern regions such as Veneto and in areas like the Collio; the company’s history begins in the Bresciano and includes references to territories around Lake Garda and beyond.
