La Pietra Chardonnay Toscana IGT 1994 is a historic offering by Tenute del Cabreo in collaboration with Folonari, presented in a wooden case. It is a white wine made from Chardonnay and classified as Toscana IGT; the bottle in a wooden case suggests a collector orientation. The label and vintage place it among age-worthy wines, suitable for those seeking bottles with several decades of bottle evolution. This example should be considered in its entirety as a preserved product.

When serving, check the bottle's condition and proceed cautiously when opening; organoleptic characteristics may show time-related evolution, so we suggest pairings with gently structured dishes such as baked fish, white meats or soft cheeses, bearing in mind the profile may vary. Storage in a cool place with stable temperature supports the wine's residual stability. Information on production or any applied technical practices is not provided here: for further details consult the label or the seller.

Winery history
The Folonari family has deep roots in the Brescia area and has been involved in wine production since the late 18th century. At the end of the 19th century the headquarters were moved to Brescia, and in the early 20th century the family acquired the historic Ruffino winery. In the 1960s Nino Folonari began a shift toward quality with the acquisition of estates in Chianti. In 2000 Ambrogio and Giovanni Folonari established Ambrogio e Giovanni Folonari Tenute, which brings together several estates in Tuscany, while the Folonari brand offers an extensive range of table wines and appellation wines.
Production philosophy
Enhance the production areas, combine tradition and innovation, and focus on grape quality to produce wines that are distinctive and closely tied to their territory; the company's plan includes investments in the estates and attention to the diversity of terroirs.
Terroir and vineyards
Headquarters and estates are mainly in Tuscany, with production and a presence also in north-eastern regions such as Veneto and in areas like the Collio; the company’s history begins in the Bresciano and includes references to territories around Lake Garda and beyond.
Awards and recognitions
The "Vinitaly Territory Ambassador" award was presented to Ambrogio e Giovanni Folonari Tenute.
