La Pietra Chardonnay 1995 in magnum format shows a mature, complex profile, the result of long bottle evolution. In the glass it displays an intense golden color with amber highlights; on the nose it develops notes of ripe yellow fruit, honey, dried flowers and a light hazelnut note, accompanied by tertiary hints that tell of the wine's age. The palate is rich and enveloping, with good structure and a balance between roundness and freshness that supports the flavors developed over time.

This bottle is suitable for special occasions or for those seeking a mature Chardonnay, presented in magnum and delivered in a wooden case. Before serving it is advisable to open gently and, if necessary, decant to separate any deposits and let the wine breathe; serving temperature around 10–12 °C. It pairs well with flavorful fish dishes, shellfish, white meats and soft cheeses, offering a tasting experience that rewards slowness and attention to detail.

Winery history
The Folonari family has deep roots in the Brescia area and has been involved in wine production since the late 18th century. At the end of the 19th century the headquarters were moved to Brescia, and in the early 20th century the family acquired the historic Ruffino winery. In the 1960s Nino Folonari began a shift toward quality with the acquisition of estates in Chianti. In 2000 Ambrogio and Giovanni Folonari established Ambrogio e Giovanni Folonari Tenute, which brings together several estates in Tuscany, while the Folonari brand offers an extensive range of table wines and appellation wines.
Production philosophy
Enhance the production areas, combine tradition and innovation, and focus on grape quality to produce wines that are distinctive and closely tied to their territory; the company's plan includes investments in the estates and attention to the diversity of terroirs.
Terroir and vineyards
Headquarters and estates are mainly in Tuscany, with production and a presence also in north-eastern regions such as Veneto and in areas like the Collio; the company’s history begins in the Bresciano and includes references to territories around Lake Garda and beyond.
