Il nome Moresco deriva dal vecchio proprietario del vigneto, oggi vigneto Pajorè acquistato nel 1979. Un vino che nasce dall'unione di 3 vitigni: Nebbiolo, Merlot e Cabernet Sauvignon, che fermentano separatamente per 3 settimane. Terminata la fermentazione malolattica, si procede all'assemblaggio ed all'affinamento per 12 mesi in legno.

All'esame olfattivo denota un bouquet fine e ricco, caratterizzato da profumi fruttati di piccoli frutti rossi. Nel calice si presenta con una veste rosso rubino scarico; all'assaggio è una beva elegante, armoniosa e dal gusto fruttato. I tannini sono morbidi e setosi e il finale fresco e persistente, il tutto assicura un sorso avvolgente, superba espressione di grandi terroirs.

Un vino che racchiude la longevità e la complessità del Nebbiolo con la corposità del Merlot e del Cabernet Sauvignon, dando origine ad un rosso di qualità ed elevata fattura. Perfetto in abbinamento a primi piatti conditi con sughi saporiti, taglieri di formaggi ben stagionati, selvaggina, arrosti, carne alla griglia e in umido.

Founded in the 19th century and based in Barbaresco. A pioneer in single-vineyard winemaking in Barbaresco. Winery history
The Gaja family has been present in the Langhe since the second half of the 19th century; the estate, established in the community of Barbaresco, became internationally renowned thanks to its modernization choices and the bottling of wines from individual vineyards. In the 1960s and 1970s Angelo Gaja introduced single-vineyard labels and experimented with techniques and grape varieties new to the area. Over time the estate has expanded beyond the heart of the Langhe with investments and holdings in other Italian regions.
