Le Chemin de Marloup Jean Paul Picard et Fils is born in the heart of Burgundy, a region renowned for its skillful wine-making tradition and the limestone-clay soil that gives its wines elegance and complexity. This cru represents the authentic expression of Pinot Noir, the area's flagship grape variety, which here manifests with refined aromatic intensity and a harmonious structure. The wine matures in French oak barrels, a process that enhances the velvety tannins and enriches the bouquet with delicate notes of red fruits, sweet spices, and light earthy hints. On the palate, it is enveloping, fine, and persistent, offering a pleasant freshness and a smooth gustatory texture.

The controlled designation of origin highlights the family tradition of Jean Paul Picard et Fils, who through careful selection and nature-respecting methods allows this wine to tell the story and terroir of Burgundy. Ideal to pair with dishes based on white meats, light game, or aged cheeses, Le Chemin de Marloup proves a perfect choice for those seeking an elegant and sophisticated sensory experience.

Family-run estate with a centuries-old tradition 14 hectares of vineyards located on the slopes of Bué. "lutte raisonnée" practices and hand-harvesting Winemaking with indigenous yeasts in a gravity-flow winery. Production of Sancerre and Menetou‑Salon
Winery history
The estate has been managed by the Picard family for generations; official records trace the family estate back to 1750. Over time management has preserved an artisanal approach, and with Mickael’s arrival in 2004 it expanded production into the Menetou‑Salon appellation.
Production philosophy
Viticulture oriented towards lutte raisonnée, with hand-harvesting, management of soil biodiversity and limited interventions. In the cellar a low‑intervention approach is preferred, with preferential use of indigenous yeasts and winemaking practices that respect the characteristics of the individual crus.
Terroir and vineyards
Vineyards located on the hills of Bué in Sancerre. The soils include calcareous‑clay and stonier 'caillottes' sections, elements that contribute to the typical character of the wines.
