Le Due Sorelle Brunello di Montalcino Riserva DOCG 1995, offered by Tenuta la Fuga and marketed by Folonari, is presented in a wooden case. This is a vintage bottle labeled Riserva under the Brunello di Montalcino DOCG regulations; the wooden case emphasizes its orientation toward collectors or gifts. The available information lists producer, designation and year, without further technical details. The label and packaging are useful to assess authenticity and preservation condition; it is advisable to request detailed photos and documentation before purchase.

For those opening it: after decades in bottle the label suggests a mature wine; we recommend gentle decanting and serving at controlled temperature to appreciate the remaining balance. It is suitable for pairings with structured dishes and for collectors seeking historic examples; take preservation condition into account and request additional technical or analytical information from the seller before buying. For opening, use large glasses and allow adequate aeration; pairings may include red meats, game or aged cheeses, always considering the wine’s condition. For international shipping or long transports, ask about packaging conditions.

Winery history
The Folonari family has deep roots in the Brescia area and has been involved in wine production since the late 18th century. At the end of the 19th century the headquarters were moved to Brescia, and in the early 20th century the family acquired the historic Ruffino winery. In the 1960s Nino Folonari began a shift toward quality with the acquisition of estates in Chianti. In 2000 Ambrogio and Giovanni Folonari established Ambrogio e Giovanni Folonari Tenute, which brings together several estates in Tuscany, while the Folonari brand offers an extensive range of table wines and appellation wines.
Production philosophy
Enhance the production areas, combine tradition and innovation, and focus on grape quality to produce wines that are distinctive and closely tied to their territory; the company's plan includes investments in the estates and attention to the diversity of terroirs.
Terroir and vineyards
Headquarters and estates are mainly in Tuscany, with production and a presence also in north-eastern regions such as Veneto and in areas like the Collio; the company’s history begins in the Bresciano and includes references to territories around Lake Garda and beyond.
